"Harden Up" - The Cattledogs featuring Tommy Raudonikis now on iTunes
June 4, 2009
BRISBANE - Tom Raudonikis has teamed up with The Cattledogs to create the new Rock song titled 'Harden Up', which he has dedicated to Willie Mason. Raudonikis said the song, which is backed by MGM and Media Hammer, is dedicated to the ‘primadonnas’ out there who needed to ‘harden up’. The song is produced by Magoo of Blackbox, who has previously worked with artists Regurgitator, Midnight Oil, Renee Geyer and Powderfinger. “This is definitely a tune the primadonnas like Big Willie (Mason) need to be singing in their head when they hit the paddock,” said Mr Raudonikis. “It’s all about the crap people go on with these days and people being wrapped up in cotton wool, they just need to Harden Up!” In the song Mr Raudonikis takes aim at new age menu items such as Cappuccinos and Sushi, and asks what an iPod and hair product is. The video clip features the 2009 Ralph Australian Swimwear title holder Joanna King. The song can be purchased from iTunes here. |
Tommy and Artie Place Wager on State of Origin
June 3, 2009
SYDNEY - Tommy Raudonikis and Artie Beetson have announced a wager on the State of Origin series on the Mornings with Kerri-Anne show today.
The former Origin greats are so confident in their respective teams performance for the 2009 series, that they have placed a bet on the outcome of the 3 origin games. Appearing live with Kerri-Anne Kennerly on Channel 9 this morning, the boys placed a bet that would see Tommy cart Artie the length of the rugby league field at a Queensland game if NSW lose the series. Conversely, if Queensland lose the series Artie will perform a rap song, in the same vein of Tommy's origin track Harden Up.
Raudonikis and Beetson appeared on Channel 9 to discuss tonight's Origin match up between NSW and QLD at Melbourne's Etihad Statium, and their individually branded clothing 'CATTLEDOG' and 'MURRI YAXA', which they were seen wearing on the show.
